Chicken Veggie Wrap

I improvised this recipe, didn't get it from any website. :) Remember, don't rush, give the food time to cook, but make sure you don't burn things either!

Ingredients

Olive oil
Half an onion, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Two handfuls of any fresh salad leaves or just spinach
Half a large carrot, grated
1 or 2 cups of tomato sauce or 1 chopped tomato
Table spoon of honey
1 cup or two of mozzarella cheese
Precooked chopped chicken
Wraps

Add chopped onion to a skillet with about 2 Table spoons of olive oil.

Add salt and pepper to taste

Clean your spinach by rinsing it with water

Add it to the skillet

mix mix

Cut the ends of your carrot and clean it

Shred or grate half of the carrot

mix mix and cover for a minute

Add your precooked chicken. I had left overs.

mix mix

Add tomato sauce or chopped tomatoes.

Add cheese

mix some more

Cover and remove from heat. Get some wraps.

Mines are tomato wraps, but use any kind you'd like best.

Grab a big spoon and scoop in your chicken mix.

Place scoop in the center of your wrap.

Steps to folding wrap:

Step 1: Fold bottom

Step 2: Fold sides

Step 3: Fold top over

Pin your wrap with toothpicks

Toast in a skillet for a minute, just to give the wrap some crunchiness

Place on a cutting board

And cut

I made three cut them in half and served them just like that

Enjoy!!

Yum yum yuuuumm!

Love, Mari

Good Morning Mate

First things first,

You must obtain a Pava(Teapot), Mate Gourd and a Bombilla (Mate straw)

Ingredients:

Yerba Mate
Sugar
Coffee (I use Folgers)
Water

To start, pour water in the Teapot and heat stove on Medium-High.

While water is heating up, grab the Yerba and a spoon, fill in Gourd halfway or enough to cover the ring of your straw.

Add some sugar

Shake it so the Sugar brushes the Yerba down, this will make the Yerba's powder/dust gets brushed down so the flavor wont be too strong.

Then add about a Teaspoon of Coffee. I don't put in so much because if i do then the coffee will overpower the Mate flavor.

Add some more sugar to serve your first Mate.

Fill in the Mate with warm water, not hot. ( We don't want to burn the Yerba)

Let it stand for a minute, while the water keeps heating in the Teapot, so the Yerba can soak well.

When the water is hot enough (not boiling), remove it from the stove and pour a little in the Mate.

Take the first sip and empty the Mate. This might sound gross, but you may spit water in the sink, since the first serve wont be so enjoyable.

Add sugar to taste.

Pour in hot water.

And drink up!

Every time you finish, pour in some more and share with friends and family. You may heat up the water more if you'd like or add cold water if its too hot!

I hope you enjoy it!
