Guava and Cream Cheese Empanada

Ingredients

Guava Paste
Cream Cheese
Argentine Hojaldre Empanada Dough (round Puff pastry)
1 Egg Yolk
Sugar

Preheat oven to 375 Fahrenheit.

Take out the ingredients, duhh..



Cut Guava and Cream Cheese into slices, then place a slice of each on the center of the dough.


Fold dough in half, press the edge to close, then curl them too.

j.k! we gotta cook them now. My mom and I made 12.


Place Empanadas on a oven rack. Whisk the egg yolk and with a brush, paint the empanadas. (This will give them a golden color)


Sprinkle Sugar on each empanada.


Place rack in the oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown





I choose this one!


Wait until they cool down a little.. And bite!


So delicious.


I devoured mine!
